1. Enrolment & Fees

1.1 Enrolment
Enrolment must be completed via our website: www.aquilataekwondo.com/school-clubs.
Classes are open to primary school students; no prior Taekwondo experience is required.

 

1.2 Fees & Payments
Fees (including any registration fees) are specific to each school and outlined at the point of booking.
Full payment must be made before the first class, unless attending a trial session. In such cases, full term payment is required before the second class.
Payments must be made via our designated online systems unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

1.3 Refund Policy
All fees are non-refundable, including in cases of absence, withdrawal, or cancellation.
Students who miss sessions may attend a make-up class at one of Aquila Taekwondo’s external evening locations (subject to availability).

 

2. Class Structure & Uniforms

 

2.1 Class Format
Class duration and term dates vary by school and will be confirmed prior to the start of each term.

 

2.2 Uniforms & Equipment
Students may initially attend in school PE kit.
Aquila-branded uniforms are available to purchase and are required once the initial trial period has passed.
Unbranded uniforms or those from other clubs may not be worn once the official Aquila uniform is obtained.

 

3. Instructor Credentials
All instructors are:
Enhanced DBS certified
First Aid trained
Certified in safeguarding
Ratios of instructors to students are maintained in accordance with safety and school policies.

 

4. Health & Safety

 

4.1 Risk Management
Risk assessments are carried out at each venue before classes commence.
First aid kits are present at all sessions and staff are trained to manage incidents appropriately.

 

4.2 Medical Information
Parents/guardians are responsible for disclosing all relevant medical or behavioural information prior to the start of term.
Aquila Taekwondo reserves the right to refuse participation if safety is compromised.

 

5. Attendance & Punctuality

 

5.1 Late Collection Policy
Parents must collect children promptly at the end of class.
Late collections (15+ minutes) will incur a £15 charge. Repeat incidents will be charged at an additional £5 per occurrence.

 

5.2 Missed Sessions
Missed sessions are non-refundable but may be made up at Aquila evening locations, subject to space and instructor discretion.

 

6. Behaviour & Discipline
Respect and discipline are fundamental to Taekwondo and must be upheld by all students.
Disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behaviour will result in a warning.
Continued misconduct may lead to removal from the club without refund.

 

7. Parent/Guardian Responsibility

 

7.1 Session Access
Parents are not permitted to observe or attend sessions unless specifically invited (e.g., grading or showcase events).

 

7.2 Drop-Off & Collection
Breakfast clubs: Parents are responsible for timely drop-off. Aquila instructors will escort students to their class afterward.
After-school clubs: Students are collected from classrooms and must be picked up by parents at the end of class.

 

8. Cancellations & Closures

 

8.1 Class Cancellations
In the event of school closure or unavoidable disruptions (e.g., weather, strikes), classes may be cancelled.
Parents will be notified via email and/or through the school.

 

8.2 Make-Up for Cancelled Classes
Cancelled sessions may be made up at an Aquila external evening class. No refunds will be issued.

 

9. Legal & Liability

 

9.1 Participation Waiver
By enrolling, parents acknowledge that Taekwondo is a physical activity and accept the associated risks.
Aquila Taekwondo will not be held liable for any injuries sustained during sessions, except in cases of proven negligence.

 

9.2 Media Consent
Photos or videos may be taken during sessions for promotional purposes.
Parents must opt out in writing if they do not wish for their child to appear in such media.

 

9.3 Termination of Enrolment
Aquila Taekwondo reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrolment due to persistent behavioural issues or health/safety risks. No refunds will be given in such cases.

 

10. Data Protection
All data is stored securely in accordance with GDPR.
Information will only be shared with the school and Aquila Taekwondo for administrative and safeguarding purposes.
Data will not be shared with third parties.
By enrolling your child in an Aquila Taekwondo school club, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
